8.8 System Utilities

This section describes system utilities.

8.8.1 clear config

This command resets the configuration to the factory defaults without powering off the switch. The switch is automatically reset
when this command is processed. You are prompted to confirm that the reset should proceed.

8.8.2 clear counters

This command clears the stats for a specified <slot/port> or for all the ports or for the entire switchbased upon the argument.

8.8.3 clear igmpsnooping

This command clears the tables managed by the IGMP Snooping function and will attempt to delete these entries from the
Multicast Forwarding Database.
