With KEYLESS GO*: pull the outside
of the door handle.
The key must be outside the vehicle.
or
Press the KEYLESS GO* button.
The key must be inside the vehicle.
Tow-away protection*
A visual and audible alarm is activated if
your vehicle's angle of inclination changes
while tow-away protection is primed.
Deactivate tow-away protection if your ve-
hicle:
is to be transported
is being loaded, e.g. onto a ferry
is parked on a movable surface, e.g. a
car transporter
This will prevent false alarms.

The tow-away protection alarm is triggered
if the vehicle is jacked up on one side, for exam-
ple.

To prime or deactivate:
i
Tow-away protection is automatically deac-
tivated when you unlock your vehicle. Tow-away
protection remains deactivated until you lock the
vehicle again.
Interior motion sensor*
A visual and audible alarm is triggered if
your vehicle is locked and movement is de-
tected inside, e.g. if:
somebody smashes one of the side
windows
somebody reaches inside the vehicle
Deactivate the interior motion sensor if
you lock your vehicle and:
people or animals remain in the vehicle
the windows remain open
the sliding/tilting sunroof remains
open
This will prevent false alarms.
To prime or deactivate:

Anti-theft systems

Risk of injury
Do not leave children unsupervised in the
vehicle. They could open the doors, release
the electric parking brake or injure them-
selves on moving parts, thus endangering
themselves and others.

The interior motion sensor remains deacti-
vated until you lock the vehicle again.

The interior motion sensor can only function
correctly if the windows and the sliding/tilting
sunroof are closed.

Do not leave anything, e.g. mascots, hang-
ing on the rear-view mirror or on the grab han-
dles on the roof trim. These could otherwise
trigger false alarms.
