COMAND navigation system* (entering a destination)

With input characters 6, you can only se-
lect the characters that are currently available.
Which these are depends on the current input
string and the data contained on the digital map.
During the character selection procedure
described below, list entry 1 always
shows the road name that most closely
matches the current input string.
COMAND automatically adds plausible
characters 3 to characters 2 already en-
tered by the user.
To select a character: slide
turn ymz.
To confirm the character selection:
press n.
To delete individual characters: se-
lect ) in the bottom line and press n.
To delete an entire entry: select ) in
the bottom line and press and hold n
until the entire entry has been deleted.

To accept the first list entry: press
and hold n until the address input
menu appears.
COMAND has automatically accepted
the first list entry and entered it in the
address input menu.
To cancel an entry: select "Back" in
the bottom line and press n.

Press the L back button.
omp or The input characters 6 disappear if
COMAND is able to uniquely assign the
characters entered to one road. The list of
roads is shown without the input charac-
ters. Here you can make another selection.
It is also possible to change to the road.
To change manually to the road
name list without input characters:
slide qm.

Select ? in the second to bottom line
and press n.
