You attempted to switch on Night View
Assist but the light switch was not at

You attempted to switch on Night View
Assist while the transmission selector
lever was in position R.
You attempted to switch on Night View
Assist but the light switch was not at

Also, the transmission is in position R.
You attempted to switch on Night View
Assist in daylight.
CL 600 only:
The engine oil level is too low. There is
a risk of engine damage.
Possible solution
Turn the light switch to * or B.
Move the transmission selector lever to P,
N or D.
Turn the light switch to *
Move the transmission selector lever to P,
N or D.
It is only possible to switch on Night View As-
sist when it is dark.
Stop the vehicle. Pay attention to the traf-
fic conditions.
Switch off the engine.
Top up engine oil and check the engine oil
level ( page 377).
