Possible cause/consequence
The level of the stationary vehicle is too
low. The vehicle level is being raised.
Only certain ABC functions are availa-
ble. The vehicle's handling characteris-
tics may thus be affected.

The message only appears for particular
country-specific vehicle variants.
The maximum permissible speed has
been exceeded.

Risk of accident
ABS, ESP and therefore also PRE-
®
SAFE ® have been deactivated due to a
malfunction. BAS has also been deacti-
vated. The braking system remains
available with full brake boosting effect
but without ABS.
BAS Plus* and the PRE-SAFE
may also have failed.
Possible solution
!
Do not pull away.
Wait for the vehicle level to adjust.
The message disappears when the vehicle
level has adjusted.

Do not exceed a maximum speed of 80 km/h.
Have the vehicle checked at a qualified
specialist workshop.
Drive more slowly.
Drive on carefully.
Visit a qualified specialist workshop.
