Extended range foglamps
The extended range foglamps reduce the
glare experienced by the driver and im-
prove the illumination of the left-hand edge
of the carriageway when driving on the
right-hand side.
To switch on: pull the light switch out
to the second detent. The front
foglamps and the rear foglamp are ac-
tive.
The extended range foglamps are
activated if you are driving under
70 km/h.
To switch off: switch off the rear
foglamp.

The extended range foglamps are deactivat-
ed automatically at speeds above 100 km/h.
Hazard warning light function
The hazard warning lamps still operate if
the ignition is switched off. The hazard
warning lamps are switched on automati-
cally if an airbag has been deployed or if
you brake the vehicle sharply and bring it
to a halt from a speed of more than
70 km/h.

To switch on or off: press hazard
warning lamps button 1.

When you indicate a turn, only the turn sig-
nal lamps on that side of the vehicle are switched
on if the hazard warning lamps are switched on.
If the hazard warning lamps have been switched
on automatically, press the hazard warning lamp
button once to switch them off.
Interior lighting

When you unlock the vehicle from the out-
side, the interior lighting is switched off. Howev-
er, as soon as you press one of the interior
lighting buttons, the selected light comes on and
all the lights in the vehicle that are not switched
on with a button are activated.
If you do not lock the vehicle, all the lights are
switched off after 30 minutes. If you open the
door, the stowage compartment, glove compart-
ment and vanity mirror lighting will switch on
even if you do not use the key.
