Do not drive on.
Wait until the message disappears before
restarting the engine. You could otherwise
damage the engine.
Observe the coolant temperature gauge
( page 272).
Stop immediately in accordance with the
traffic conditions and check the poly-V-
belt.
If it has torn:

Do not drive on.
Consult a qualified specialist work-
shop.
If it is undamaged:
Wait until the message disappears be-
fore restarting the engine. You could
otherwise damage the engine.
Observe the coolant temperature
gauge ( page 272).
Have the vehicle checked at a qualified
specialist workshop.
