Risk of accident
Parking Guidance is only an aid and might
not detect all obstacles. Parking Guidance
might not be able to detect objects properly
at corners or on smooth surfaces. Parking
Guidance does not relieve you of your re-
sponsibility to pay attention.
You are always responsible for safety and
must pay attention to your immediate sur-
roundings when parking and manoeuvring.
Otherwise, you could endanger yourself and
others.
Stop the vehicle as long as the desired
parking space is indicated by the blue
parking space symbol in the instrument
cluster.
Engage reverse gear.
The following message appears in the
multi-function display: "Check entire
surroundings. Confirm with OK.".

tion steering wheel.
The instrument cluster display switch-
es to Parking Guidance.
Steering instructions
1 Red lines show the current steering
wheel angle
2 Yellow lines show the required steering
wheel angle
Turn the steering wheel while the vehi-
cle is stationary until the red lines 1
correspond to the yellow lines 2.
The lines turn green. If the parking
space is displayed in the instrument
cluster, a white bracket appears at the
end of the green lines with an arrow for
the target position.

Maintain the steering wheel angle and
reverse carefully.
Stop as soon as the warning tone
sounds.
The vehicle has reached the position
when you need to countersteer.
