To cancel the search: select "Can-
cel".
The second time you call up the list, and
subsequently, the device list appears im-
mediately if COMAND has not been
switched off and on again in the meantime.
To start the search manually: select
"Update".
The device list can contain the following
devices:
All devices detected, whether author-
ised or not.
All authorised devices, whether detect-
ed or not.

1 Authorised and detected device, device
and padlock icon are the same colour
2 Device which was not detected, but
which has been authorised in the past,
device and padlock icon are different
colours (the device may be switched
off or not be in the vehicle, for example)
3 Newly detected device, not yet author-
ised (no icon)

If the device list already contains twelve au-
thorised devices, you must revoke authorisation
for one of the authorised devices. Then you must
switch this device off and then restart the
search. Any new devices for which you wish to
search will not otherwise appear in the list.
COMAND system settings
Displaying details about a Bluetooth
device
Call up the Bluetooth device list
( page 200).
Select the desired device.
Select "Details".
The detailed display for this device ap-
pears.
To close the detailed display: turn
ymz
or slide qmr.
Authorising a Bluetooth device
Call up the Bluetooth device list
( page 200).
Select the unauthorised device.
Select "Authorise".
The input menu for the access number
appears.

The access number is any one to six-digit
number which you can set yourself. You must en-
ter the same number in COMAND and also in the
device to be authorised.
