KEYLESS GO*
Problem
You cannot lock or unlock the vehicle
using the KEYLESS GO key.

Possible cause/consequence
The KEYLESS GO key batteries are nearly
discharged or fully discharged.
There is interference from a powerful
source of radio waves.
There is a malfunction with KEYLESS GO.
Suggested solutions
Unlock or lock the vehicle using the
emergency key element ( page 470).
Check the KEYLESS GO key batteries
and change them if necessary
( page 474).
Lock or unlock the vehicle using the re-
mote control function on the KEYLESS
GO key. To do this, point the tip of the
key at the driver's door handle at close
range as you would when using the sum-
mer opening or convenience closing fea-
ture ( page 351) and try to open the
vehicle again.
Unlock or lock the vehicle using the
emergency key element ( page 470).
Have KEYLESS GO checked at a quali-
fied specialist workshop.
Lock or unlock the vehicle using the re-
mote control function on the KEYLESS
GO key. To start the engine, insert the
KEYLESS GO key into the ignition lock.
