With input characters 4, you can only se-
lect the digits that are currently available. Which
these are depends on the current input string
and the data contained on the digital map.
During the digit selection procedure de-
scribed below, list entry 1 always shows
a postcode that most closely matches the
current input string. COMAND then auto-
matically adds plausible digits 3 to those
already entered by the user 2, to com-
plete a postcode.
To select a digit: slide omp
ymz.
To confirm the digit selection: press
n.
To delete individual digits: select )
in the bottom line and press n.
To delete an entire entry: select ) in
the bottom line and press and hold n
until the entire entry has been deleted.
To accept the first list entry: press
and hold n until the address input
menu appears.
COMAND has automatically accepted
the first list entry and entered it in the
address input menu.
To cancel an entry: select "Back" in
the bottom line and press n.

Press the L back button.
or turn The input characters 4 disappear if
COMAND is able to uniquely assign the
characters entered to one postcode. The
list of postcodes is shown without the in-
put characters. Here you can make anoth-
er selection.
It is also possible to change to the post-
code list without input characters manual-
ly at any time during digit input.

list without input characters: slide
