Locking the vehicle
If you cannot centrally lock your vehicle us-
ing the key or the KEYLESS GO* key:
Close the driver's door.
Press down the locking knob on the
driver's door inside the vehicle.

Make sure that you have the vehicle key with
you and have not left it in the vehicle because
after the next step, the vehicle will be locked.
Press down the locking knob of the
open front-passenger door.
Close the front-passenger door.
The vehicle is locked.

If it is no longer possible to close the boot
using the remote control switch*, press down on
the edge of the boot lid by hand until it engages
or press the closing button* on the boot lid.
Unlocking the boot
If the boot cannot be unlocked using the
key or KEYLESS GO*, use the emergency
key element.
If you unlock the boot with the emergency
key element, the anti-theft alarm system*
will be triggered ( page 54) as soon as
the driver's door is opened.

There are several ways of disabling the
alarm:
Press the Œ or ‹ button on the key.
Insert the key into the ignition lock.
Press the KEYLESS GO* button
( page 223).
Lock or unlock the vehicle using KEYLESS
GO*.

The boot lid automatically swings upwards.
Therefore, make sure that there is sufficient
clearance.

Unlocking the boot
1 Boot lock
2 To open the boot
Remove the emergency key element
( page 470) from the key.
Insert emergency key element into
boot lock 1.
Turn the emergency key element anti-
clockwise to the stop and pull the han-
dle on boot lid 2.
The boot is unlocked.
