Proceed with the operating step "To
change the data field" in the "Creating
an entry in the phone book on the mo-
bile phone" section ( page 118).
Storing in an existing address book
entry
Select an entry from the phone book on
the mobile phone ( page 118).

All entries with the T icon are entries in
the phone book on the mobile phone.
Select "Options"
"Save"
Select a number category, e.g. "Home".
Select a telephone category, e.g.
"Landline telephone number".
Select "Save".
The search menu for address book en-
tries appears.
Search for the desired entry.

There is a detailed description of searching
for an address book entry in the "Searching for
an address book entry" section ( page 187).
Press n.
COMAND stores the data if there are
fewer than four numbers assigned to
the entry you are searching for in the
selected number category.
If four numbers are stored for the entry
you are searching for, a prompt will ap-
pear asking whether you wish to over-
write one of the existing numbers.
Select "Yes" or "No".
After selecting "Yes", a selection list
appears with the four existing num-
bers.
Select the number to be overwritten.
COMAND overwrites the selected
number with the new data.

Select the address book entry
( page 118).

All entries without the T icon are ad-
dress book entries.
Select "Options"
"Add tel. no.".
Select a number category, e.g. "Home".
Select a telephone category, e.g.
"Landline telephone number".
Select "Save".
If four numbers are stored for the entry
in the selected number category, a
prompt will appear asking whether you
wish to overwrite one of the existing
numbers.
Select "Yes" or "No".
If you select "Yes", a selection list
will appear containing the four ex-
isting numbers.
