The engine oil temperature display is blue if
the engine oil temperature has not yet reached
80°C. Avoid driving at full engine power during
this time.
% or $ can be used to select the fol-
lowing functions in the AMG menu:
RACETIMER
Overall evaluation
Lap evaluation
RACETIMER
Use ( or & to select the "AMG"
menu.
Press % until the RACETIMER ap-
pears.
The RACETIMER is a stopwatch for
hours, minutes and seconds.

You can start the RACETIMER when the en-
gine is running or the key is in position 2 in the
ignition lock.

While the RACETIMER is displayed, the vol-
ume cannot be regulated with the æ and
ç buttons.
Starting: start the RACETIMER with
æ.
Displaying the elapsed time: call up
the elapsed time with ç.
The elapsed time is displayed for five
seconds.
To stop: stop the RACETIMER with
æ.
To select a different display, press
$, ( or &.

If you stop the vehicle and turn the key to
position 1 in the ignition lock, the RACETIMER in-
terrupts time measurement. Time measurement
is continued if you turn the key to position 2 or 3
and then press æ.
Saving the lap time and starting a new
lap

A maximum of 16 laps can be saved.
Call up the elapsed time with ç dur-
ing time measurement.
The elapsed time is displayed for five
seconds.
Press ç again within five seconds.
The elapsed time which is displayed is
saved as the lap time.
Time measurement for a new lap is
started. Time measurement for the
new lap runs from calling up the
elapsed time.
