Switching on auxiliary heating/
ventilation
Press the ON button on the remote
control.
ON appears in the display when/if
the auxiliary heating or ventilation is
switched on.

It is not possible to switch on the auxiliary
heating if the message FAIL appears
( page 468).
Switching off auxiliary heating/ventila-
tion
Press the OFF button on the remote
control.
OFF appears in the display. The auxilia-
ry heating or ventilation is switched off.
Checking the status of the auxiliary
heating
Press the p or o button on the remote
control.
You will see one of the following dis-
plays in the remote control display,
depending on the operating status of
the auxiliary heating or ventilation.
Display Meaning
The auxiliary heating or
ventilation is switched
off
The auxiliary heating or
ventilation is switched
on.
A fault occurred with the
auxiliary heating or the
heating is defective.
There is insufficient fuel
in the fuel tank or insuffi-
cient charge in the bat-
tery.
There is interference in
the signal transmission
between the remote con-
trol and auxiliary
heating/ventilation.
The auxiliary ventilation
is switched on.
The number in the re-
mote control display in-
dicates the remaining
time for the auxiliary ven-
tilation.

The auxiliary heating is
switched on. The number
in the remote control dis-
play indicates the re-
maining time for the
auxiliary heating.
A departure time is se-
lected. The time shown
in the display is the de-
parture time.
A departure time is se-
lected. The auxiliary ven-
tilation is currently
selected. The time
shown in the display is
the departure time.
A departure time is se-
lected. The auxiliary
heating is currently se-
lected. The time shown
in the display is the de-
parture time.
