Possible cause/consequence
The pressure in one or more tyres has
dropped significantly.
The pressure in a tyre has dropped. The
tyre concerned is displayed in the in-
strument cluster.
The wheel sensor for one or more tyres
has failed. No pressure value is dis-
played in the instrument cluster for the
tyre concerned.
A tyre is deflating quickly. The tyre con-
cerned is displayed in the instrument
cluster.
There is insufficient pressure in one or
more tyres or the tyre pressures on in-
dividual wheels differ too much.
Possible solution
Stop the vehicle without making any sud-
den steering or braking manoeuvres. Pay
attention to the traffic conditions.
Repair the tyre or change the wheel
( page 483).
