4 Emergency key element
Use emergency key element 4 to slide
old batteries 3 out of the battery tray.
Insert the new batteries underneath
the contact spring with the positive ter-
minal facing upwards. Use a lint-free
cloth to do so.
Push the battery tray back into the key
housing until the battery tray engages.

When inserting the batteries, make sure that
they are clean and lint-free.
Check the function of all buttons on the
key on the vehicle.
Auxiliary heating remote control*
You will need a 6 V 2CR11108 type pin bat-
tery.

2 Battery cover
Force apart the side arms of battery
cover 2 and slide off battery cover 2.
Remove old battery 1.
Insert the new battery. Observe the po-
larity signs on the back of the remote
control when doing so.
Slide battery cover 2 back onto the
remote control.
