Multi-contour dynamic driving seat*
You can set the characteristics of the
multi-contour dynamic driving seat using
COMAND ( page 216).

If PRE-SAFE has been activated, the air
pressure in the air chambers (side bolsters of the
seat cushion and backrest) of the multi-contour
seat* or multi-contour dynamic driving seat* is
increased.
Seat ventilation*
The blue indicator lamps in the buttons in-
dicate the ventilation level you have select-
ed.
Level
3 3 indicator lamps are lit
2 2 indicator lamps are lit
1 1 indicator lamp is lit
Off No indicator lamps are lit

1 Seat ventilation

If the battery voltage is too low, the seat ven-
tilation may switch off.
Make sure the key is in position 2 in the
ignition lock.
To switch on: press button 1 repeat-
edly until the desired ventilation level is
set.

When you open the side windows and the
sliding/tilting sunroof using the remote control
( page 351), the driver's seat ventilation auto-
matically switches to the highest level.
To switch off: press button 1 repeat-
edly until all the indicator lamps go out.
Seat heating
The red indicator lamps in the buttons indi-
cate the heating level you have selected.

2 2 indicator lamps are lit

1 Seat heating

The system switches back to level 2 auto-
matically after approximately eight minutes at
level 3. The system switches back to level 1 au-
tomatically after approximately ten minutes at
level 2. The system switches off automatically
after approximately 20 minutes at level 1. The
