Countersteering
1 Red lines show the current steering
wheel angle
2 Yellow lines show the required steering
wheel angle
Turn the steering wheel while the vehi-
cle is stationary until the red lines 1
correspond to the yellow lines 2.
The lines 2 turn green and a white
bracket with an arrow is displayed to
represent the target position.
Driving into the final position
1 Green lines when the steering wheel
angle is correct
Maintain the steering wheel angle and
reverse carefully until the vehicle is in
the final position.
The "Parking guidance finished" mes-
sage appears on the multi-function dis-
play and a warning tone sounds.
The Park Assist warning tone addition-
ally sounds if the distance to the rear is
too short.
Driving systems
Final position
Depending on the size of the parking
space, the vehicle may be at an angle to
the kerb. In this case Parking Guidance will
guide you up to the rear end of the parking
space, if possible.
Take up the final position by manoeu-
vring if necessary.
Observe the Park Assist display.
