Activating while the vehicle is in motion
Pull the cruise control lever briefly in
the direction of arrow 4 or press it
up 1 or down 2.
Distronic Plus is activated.
Press and hold the cruise control lever
up 1 or down 2 until the desired
speed is set.
Remove your foot from the accelerator
pedal.
Your vehicle adapts its speed to the ve-
hicle in front, up to no more than the
stored speed.
i
You can only activate Distronic Plus below
30 km/h if the vehicle travelling in front has
been detected and is shown in the multi-function
display. If you can no longer see the vehicle trav-
elling in front in the multi-function display and it
is no longer detected, e.g. if it has changed
lanes, Distronic Plus is deactivated and you will
hear a signal.
i
If you do not fully release the accelerator
pedal, the "DISTRONIC PLUS passive" message
appears in the multi-function display. The dis-
tance to a slower-moving vehicle will not then be
adjusted. You will be driving at the speed deter-
mined by the position of the accelerator pedal.

Activating when approaching a station-
ary vehicle
If the vehicle in front is stationary, you can
only activate Distronic Plus if your vehicle

Press and hold the cruise control lever
up 1 or down 2 until the desired

i

using the thumbwheel on the cruise control lever
