Operating the sliding/tilting sun-
roof manually
If the sliding/tilting sunroof no longer
moves electrically, you can operate it man-
ually using a crank. The drive is located be-
hind the left-hand sun visor.

Remove cover 1.

2 Crank
Turn the key to position 1 or 2 in the
ignition lock.
Take the crank from the Owner's Man-
ual wallet ( page 360).
Insert crank 2 into the drive under
cover 1.
Turn it clockwise or anti-clockwise.
The sliding sunroof opens or closes.
The sliding/tilting sunroof must be reset
if it has been opened or closed manually
( page 351).
