Folding up pneumatically*

If a rear passenger inserts the belt into the
buckle, the head restraint on the corresponding
seat folds up automatically.
Press and hold button 1 until the head
restraints are folded up.
Folding up manually

Pull the head restraint up by hand until
it engages in place.

Risk of injury
Make sure that the head restraints are en-
gaged. The back of the head will otherwise
not be supported in the event of a rear im-
pact and the rear passengers could be in-
jured.
