Risk of fire
Washer fluid concentrate is highly flamma-
ble. Fire, naked flames and smoking are
therefore prohibited when you are handling
washer fluid concentrate.
Use:
a washer fluid additive, e.g. MB Sum-
merwash, for temperatures above
freezing point, to prevent smearing
a washer fluid additive, e.g. MB Winter-
wash, when there is a risk of frost, to
prevent the washer fluid from freezing
on the windscreen
Mix the washer fluid in a container be-
forehand. Match the mixture ratio to
the outside temperature ( page 524).
Opening the washer fluid reservoir
Pull cap 1 upwards by the tab.

Closing the washer fluid reservoir
Press cap 1 onto the filler neck until it
engages.

Only use washer fluid which is suitable
for plastic lenses. Unsuitable washer fluid could
damage the plastic lenses of the headlamps.
