Switching on the rear foglamp
Pull the light switch out to the second
detent.
The † yellow rear foglamp indicator
lamp next to the light switch lights up.
Headlamp cleaning system

1 Cleaning the headlamps
Make sure the key is in position 2 in the
ignition lock.
Push rocker switch 1 briefly up or
down.
The headlamps are cleaned with a high-
pressure water jet.

The headlamps are cleaned automatically if
at the same time:
the engine is running
the lights are switched on
you have wiped with washer fluid fifteen
times
If you switch off the ignition or press button 1,
the automatic headlamp cleaning mode is reset
and counting is resumed from 0.

Turn the light switch to
B

Push the combination switch in the di-
rection of arrow 1.
The main-beam headlamps come on.
The main-beam indicator lamp in
A
the instrument cluster lights up.
Headlamp flasher
Pull the combination switch briefly in
the direction of arrow 2.
Intelligent Light System
The Intelligent Light System adapts the il-
lumination of the front headlamps to the
respective driving situation so that the
road is illuminated better.

The Intelligent Light System is only active
when it is dark.
The Intelligent Light System consists of:
Active light function
Cornering light function
Motorway mode
Extended range foglamps
