1 Wheel bolts for 17'' light-alloy wheels
2 Wheel bolts for the "Minispare" emer-
gency spare wheel*
3 Wheel bolts for 18'' light-alloy wheels
and larger

You must use wheel bolts 1 or 2 when fit-
ting 17'' wheels or the "Minispare"* emergency
spare wheel. If you use different wheel bolts
when fitting 17'' wheels or the "Minispare"*
emergency spare wheel, this could damage the
brake system.

Wheel bolts 2 are supplied with the emer-
gency spare wheel (not with 17'' tyres).
Clean the wheel and wheel hub contact
surfaces.
Push the "Minispare" emergency spare
wheel* or spare wheel* onto the cen-
tring pin and press it on fully.

Screw in the wheel bolts and tighten
them gently.
Unscrew the centring pin.
Screw in the last wheel bolt and tighten
it gently.
Practical advice
Lowering the vehicle
Turn the crank of the jack anti-clock-
wise until the vehicle is once again
standing firmly on the ground.
Place the jack to one side.

1 to 5 wheel bolts
Tighten the wheel bolts evenly in a
crosswise pattern in sequence 1 to
5. The tightening torque must be
150 Nm.
