Troubleshooting
Problem
Only the red segments in the Parktronic
warning displays light up. You also hear a
warning tone. Parktronic switches off af-
ter approximately 20 seconds and the in-
dicator lamp in the Parktronic button
lights up.

Possible cause
Parktronic has malfunctioned and has
switched itself off.
The Parktronic sensors are dirty or there is
interference. The interference may be
caused by an external source of radio or
ultrasound waves. Parktronic switches off
after approximately 20 seconds.
Suggested solutions
Have the Parktronic system checked at
a qualified specialist workshop.
Clean the Parktronic sensors
( page 397).
Switch the ignition on again.

Check whether Parktronic works in a dif-
ferent location.
