Make sure the "Lower mirror when re-
versing" function is switched on in the
"Exterior – mirror convenience settings"
submenu in COMAND.
Engage reverse gear.

When you engage reverse gear, the most re-
cently selected exterior mirror is selected auto-
matically.
Press button 1 repeatedly until the ex-
terior mirror on the front-passenger
side is selected.
The exterior mirror on the front-pas-
senger side swings to the stored park-
ing position.
The exterior mirror on the front-passenger
side swings back to its original position:
as soon as you exceed a speed of
10 km/h
about ten seconds after reverse gear is
deselected
if you press button 1 for the exterior
mirror on the driver's side

If you adjust the exterior mirror while it is
in the parking position, this new position will be
stored as the new parking position.
