4. Fold the test pattern lengthways in half, then fold it in half again as shown above.
5. Lay the test pattern flat, and use a loupe to examine the grid patterns at the first crease [A] and third
crease [B].
When viewed through the loupe, the grid lines on the left and right side should be perfectly aligned
(G) and not misaligned (NG).
6. If the lines are misaligned (NG), use a loupe to measure distance between the black vertical lines and
each of the colored vertical lines (C, M, Y). Measure this on the left and right folds:
7. If there is a gap between the black lines and a colored line, measure it and correct it with SPs as shown
in the tables below.
