6.11.5 Basic Operation 5 (Loading Programs Created with GX Developer/GX Works2)

Follow the sequence of operations as described in the following table to load and adjust ladders created with GX Developer/
GX Works2.
Procedure

Saving PLC data to an External Device

Save PLC data in external devices to the NC
(2)
To load a project of GX Developer, change the operation mode to GX Developer.
To load a project of GX Works2, change the operation mode to GX Works2.
For setting method of operation mode, refer to " Operation mode settings".
6.11.5.1 Saving PLC Data to an External Device
The following diagram illustrates the procedure to save PLC data to an external device. The same procedure is executed
whether using only one project or using multiple projects.

Create a program with GX
Developer/GX Works2.
Save the program created
This operation cannot be performed by the PLC on-board.

Use Windows Explorer.

When saving a project to external device with GX Works2, save it with one file format. Work space format is not supported by
PLC on-board.
