Propeller shaft modifications

The propeller shaft is known as the group of all mechanical components responsible
for transmitting the rotation from the engine to the wheels.
It is recommended that no changes be made to propeller shafts that come installed
in the vehicle from factory. If, under certain circumstances, some changes should
be carried out, it is very important to install the propeller shafts properly, in order
to prevent the transmission of noise and vibrations.
When making modifications to the wheelbase, use only official parts provided or au-
thorised by HMC. The best option is to choose a standard wheelbase from the range
supplied by HMC, in order to use an original propeller shaft.
NOTICE
More information about the HMC standard wheelbase dimensions can be found in:
See chapter 2.2 "Range of vehicles supplied by HYUNDAI".
It is also possible to contact the appropriate department.
See General Book, chapter 2.4 "Contact possibilities".
In any case, it should be necessary a certificate of conformity issued by HMC.

More information about certificates of conformity can be found in:
See General Book, chapter 2.6 "Verification and certification of super-
