The user of the vehicle is responsible for the security of the loading crane while it
is being used. It is therefore imperative for the Body Builder to provide clear in-
structions about superstructure functions. These instructions must always be car-
ried inside the vehicle.

Care must be taken not to install electronic equipment or wires in the vicinity of
the vehicle's exhaust pipe.
Load considerations
In vehicles with cranes installed in the rear overhang, special attention should be
paid, to ensure that the maximum permissible load on the rear axle of the vehicle is
not exceeded. It is also very important to observe the minimum load on the front
axle, to ensure proper steerability of the vehicle.
Subframe features
To improve the strength of the vehicle's original chassis frame, it will be necessary
to incorporate a subframe, which will serve as both a reinforcement and a support
for the load crane and the upper body. This will ensure that the loads will be
distributed evenly throughout the chassis frame.
The chassis frame of the vehicle and the subframe must be suitable for the weight
and maximum load moment of the loading crane.
The maximum permissible crane load moment in HMC vehicles should be less than
25 kNm.
To ensure stability in crane service, the subframe must be constructed with suffi-
cient rigidity to torsion in the area between the crane supports. A section of the
subframe with a minimum resistant moment Wx (cm³) that can withstand the re-
quired loads should be chosen.
