INTRODUCTION
PRELIMINAR STUDIES AND CONSIDERATIONS
MOUNTING AND CONSTRUCTION

The wires must have the appropriate section for the type of charge to be
carried. They should be well insulated and protected against bumps and
scratches from other parts or vehicle equipment.

Fuses with the capacity indicated for the specific function must be used. Care
must be taken not to use a fuse with a higher capacity, which could damage the
system.

The direct connection of auxiliary consumers to the battery terminal is for-
bidden.

Elements such as the fuse box, batteries, control unit, etc. must not be handled
or moved.

If it is necessary to pass wires through the cabin, the areas authorised for this
purpose must be used, and care taken to ensure that they are completely
waterproof.
NOTICE
It is recommended that wires with the same colour code as the original wires in
the vehicle should be used, as this can be useful for future repairs or changes.

The regulations on safety and the prevention of accidents must be complied with.
