The perfect tightness of the doors must be checked, to ensure that the rubber
seals have not been damaged because of the modification work. To further
improve the insulation, it is possible to spray the empty holes of the sheet
structure with insulating materials.
-
The roof and the lateral walls can be also protected properly by spraying insu-
lating foam into the empty holes in the body shell. If new windows have been
created, they must be sealed to prevent the ingress of humidity and noise.
-
Apart from reducing the noise that gets into the cab, the insulation installed
under the hood in factory helps to prevent fire. Therefore, no manipulation,
modification or removal of this element is permitted in any way whatsoever.
NOTICE
- The materials used in the insulation of the vehicle should be fireproof to a
determined degree.
- It is recommended that specialised companies for noise insulation materials
should be contacted for proper advice.
