Stability considerations
There should be no risk of tipper vehicle overturning during normal use. The stability
of a tipper vehicle must be ensured by means of calculations and tests made in the
environment in which the vehicle will be used.
Some countries require a stability test for tipper vehicles prior to commissioning.
The regulations in force in each country must always be complied with.
The manufacturer's instructions for the installation and operation of the tipper
should be considered at all times.
The user of the vehicle is responsible for the security of the tipper while it is being
used. It is therefore imperative for the Body Builder to provide clear instructions
about superstructure functions. These instructions must always be carried inside
the vehicle.

General considerations
Before starting conversion work on the vehicle, it is recommended that the basic
vehicle should be weighed and measured, and a detailed planning of the work to
developed should be carried out. In this way it is possible to properly determine the
dimensions, weights and main features of the upper body to be installed.
The proper height of the centre of gravity must be achieved, to ensure maximum
stability, as well as to comply with the distribution of weight according to the regu-
lations in force and to the guidelines contained in this manual.
