support
USB Power Delivery Revision 3.0, including Fast Role Swap
Works with ST's integrated on-chip PHY,
Direct detection of Type-C voltage levels
Supporting Power Delivery "Fast Role Swap" (Rx side)
"Fast Role Swap" Tx control generation (if required) for connection to external
MOSFETs on CC lines
Byte data reception (from the protocol layer)
Preamble generation
4b5b encoding of payload data
BMC (bi-phase mark) coding
Calculation and appending a CRC
Hardware management of InterFrame gap (Tx message will be delayed to
guarantee this)
Hardware monitoring of the IDLE state on the CC line (Tx message will be
discarded if not immediately IDLE)
Hardware support of "Hard Reset" mechanism (interrupts any on-going Tx
message)
Transmit the packet (preamble, SOP*, payload, CRC and EOP) across the
channel using BMC coding over the CC pin of a Type-C USB connector
