REP 14.7 Scan Carriage Home Sensor

Removal
Switch off the electricity to the machine. Refer to
from the customer supply while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity
can cause death or injury. Moving parts can cause injury.

Take care during this procedure. Sharp edges may be present that can cause injury.
Remove 2 screws.

Do not remove the document glass. Do not loosen the two screws securing the setting plate,
shown in

Lift off the document
glass and store carefully.

Peel back
the adhesive
tape.

Remove screw and release the sensor mounting plate to
reveal the sensor.
