3. Refer to Figure 3, remove the following:
• Output paper path drive gear.
• Fuser drive gear.
• Registration transport drive gear.
• Developer drive gear.
• Idler rolls

Replacement
The spring loaded belt tensioner, Figure 1
Replacement is the reverse of the removal procedure.
If a new developer drive gear is installed, reset the developer count to zero in the HFSI feature
screen. Refer to GP 17 High Frequency service Items.

Removal
Switch off the electricity to the machine,
customer supply while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity can

Take care during this procedure. Sharp edges may be present that can cause injury.
