Without a Tag
Accepts the packet and
adds the default VLAN
tag to the packet.
Adds the default

IDs, the port accepts
the packet and adds
the default VLAN tag
to the packet.
Adds the default

For a Received Packet
with a Tag
When the VLAN ID

of the packet is the
same as the default
VLAN ID, the access
port accepts the
packet.
When the VLAN ID
l
of the packet is
different from the
default VLAN ID, the
access port discards
the packet.
If the default VLAN
l
ID is in the list of
allowed VLAN IDs,
the port accepts the
packet.
If the default VLAN
l
ID is not in the list of
allowed VLAN IDs,
the port discards the
packet.
Accepts the packet and
adds the default VLAN
tag to the packet.
3 VLAN Configuration
For a Packet to Be
Sent
Removes the tag from
the packet and sends
the packet.
If the VLAN ID of
l
the packet is the
same as the default
VLAN and is in the
list of allowed
VLAN IDs, the port
removes the tag
from the packet and
sends the packet.
If the VLAN ID of
l
the packet is
different from the
default VLAN and
is in the list of
allowed VLAN IDs,
the port retains the
tag of the packet and
sends the packet.
If the VLAN ID of the
packet is in the list
allowed VLAN IDs,
the port sends the
packet. You can run
the port hybrid
untagged/tagged
vlan command to
determine whether the
port sends the packet
with the tag.
Removes the outer tag
with the default VLAN
ID and sends the
packet.
