9.4.5 Configuring a PE Interface at the PSN Side to Forward BPDUs
with the Specified VLAN Tag
Do as follows on the PE devices.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
interface interface-type interface-number
The view of the PE interface at the PSN side is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
port link-type trunk
The link type of the interface is set to trunk.
Step 4 Run:
port trunk allow-pass vlan { { vlan-id1 [ to vlan-id2 ] } &<1-10> | all }
The PE interface is configured to forward BPDUs with the specified VLAN tags.

9.4.6 Checking the Configuration

Procedure

STP is disabled and the PE interface is configured not to participate in calculation of
the spanning tree.
6. Run:
bpdu-tunnel stp vlan low-vid [ to high-vid ]
The PE interface is configured to transparently transmit BPDUs with the specified
VLAN tag.
7. Run:
port trunk allow-pass vlan { { vlan-id1 [ to vlan-id2 ] } &<1-10> | all }
The VLAN ID of the BPDUs that the PE allows to pass through is set.
NOTE
If PE and CE devices play the same role, the PE can transparently transmit the BPDUs from the CE
only when the BPDU tunnel function is enabled.
If PE and CE devices play the same role, no special configuration is required on the P device.
Run the display bpdu-tunnel interface config command to check the configuration of the
BPDU tunnel configured in the interface view.
