10 LDT Configuration
Step 2 Run:
interface { ethernet | gigabitethernet } interface-number
The interface view is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
loop-detection recovery-time recovery-time
The recovery time of the blocked interface is set. The blocked interface is unblocked after the
recovery time.
By default, the recovery time of a blocked interface is 0 seconds, indicating that the blocked
interface will not be unblocked.

10.2.8 Checking the Configuration

Procedure
Step 1 Run the display loop-detection [ interface interface-type interface-number ] command to view
the configuration of the LDT function.

Example
Run the display loop-detection, and you can check whether LDT is enabled. If LDT is enabled,
the system displays the interval for detecting loops, ID of the VLAN where LDT is enabled,
loops detected, and information about the ports that turn to the Shutdown state because of the
loops.
<Quidway> display loop-detection
Loopback Detection is enable.
Detection interval time is 5 seconds.
Following vlans enable loop-detection:
vlan
Following ports are block for loop:
NULL
Following ports are shutdown for loop:
NULL
If you run the display loop-detection command on a single port, the following information is
displayed:
<Quidway> display loop-detection interface GigabitEthernet 9/0/17
The port is enable.
The port's status list:
Status
