9.5.5 Configuring a PE Interface at the PSN Side to Forward BPDUs
with the Specified VLAN Tags
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
interface interface-type interface-number
The view of the PE interface at the PSN side is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
port link-type trunk
The link type of the interface is set to trunk.
Step 4 Run:
port trunk allow-pass vlan { { vlan-id1 [ to vlan-id2 ] } &<1-10> | all }
The PE interface is configured to forward BPDUs with the specified VLAN tags.
The VLAN tag specified in the command must be the same as the outer tag of the received
BPDUs.

port vlan-stacking outside-vlan vlan-id1 [ to vlan-id2 ] stack-vlan vlan-

The PE is configured to add outer tags to the received BPDUs.
6. Run:
stp disable
STP is disabled and the PE interface is configured not to participate in calculation of
the spanning tree.
7. Run:
bpdu-tunnel stp vlan low-vid [ to high-vid ]
The PE interface is configured to transparently transmit BPDUs with the specified
VLAN tag.
The VLAN tags specified in this step must include the inner tags specified in step 4.
NOTE
If PE and CE devices play the same role, no special configuration is required on the P device.
