You can select the image quality processing method when the machine scans a document.

Setting values
Normally, do not select this value.
Default setting for Extra Heavyweight Reload paper. The image
quality is suitable for side 2 of the Extra Heavyweight A paper.
Normally, do not select this value.
Paper having ream weight of 221-256 gsm.
Default setting for Extra Heavyweight (X-HW) reloaded paper.
Paper having ream weight of 257-300 gsm.
Normally, do not select this value.
Paper having ream weight of 221-256 gsm.
Default setting for Extra Heavyweight (X-HW) reloaded paper. The
image quality is suitable for side 2 of the Extra Heavyweight (X-
HW) B paper.
Normally, do not select this value.
Default setting for gloss A paper. Paper having ream weight of
106-135 gsm.
Paper having ream weight of 136-157 gsm.
Paper having ream weight of 158-176 gsm.
Default setting for gloss reload paper. The image quality is suitable
