Switching the Reject Anonymous Fax Calls Function On/Off

2. In the list field at the top, select the fax box in question according to the name or
number.
3. Click New.
4. In the From ... Until entry fields under User select the required user(s) you want to
assign to the fax box.
5. Click Save.
6. Select or clear the check boxes in the line of the corresponding users under Admin-
istrate settings. As a result, the authorisations will be expanded or restricted.
• Properties of the box not controlled via a profile (except Users/authorisations
and under Box settings theMaximum recording capacity and Fax ID).
Switching the Reject Anonymous Fax Calls Function On/Off
If the Reject anonymous fax calls function is enabled, incoming anonymous faxes (without
transferred number) will not be accepted.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for fax boxes
• Separately for configurations
• Using the configuration manager
Note: As described in the following, the setting is also possible via profiles (...
> Profiles > Configuration > Configure > ...). If the check box Profile-
controlled settings has been selected, the property set in the right-hand
column will apply. For assignment of the profile, see chapter Settings >
Profiles.
Requirements:
• Voice mail/fax function (optional, see chapter Important Information > Product Details >
Basic Assembly and Extensions)
• Readiness enabled
1. Open the page Devices > Voice mail/fax boxes > Properties > Call acceptance.
