Switching Automatic Clean-up of a Fax Box On/Off
If the automatic clean-up of a box is enabled and the maximum number of stored messages or
the Maximum recording capacity of the box is reached, the oldest messages marked as read
will be deleted as soon as new messages arrive. Archived messages will not be deleted.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for fax boxes
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• Voice mail/fax function (optional, see chapter Important Information > Product Details >
Basic Assembly and Extensions)
1. Open the page Devices > Voice mail/fax boxes > Properties > Box settings.
2. In the list field at the top, select the fax box in question according to the name or
number.
3. Select or clear the Perform at ... check box under Automatic clean-up.
4. If you have enabled automatic clean-up, enter a value in the ... memory utilisation
entry field. Possible entries:
50
to
95
Configuring E-mail Transfer for Fax Box
For a fax box it can be configured in which cases e-mails will be automatically set for notification
via the selected outgoing mail server.
Proceed as follows:
