Creating a Relais and Assigning it to an Announcement Output

Creating a Relais and Assigning it to an Announcement Output
Relays with the operating mode Speaking, which are enabled during the loudspeaker
announcement, can be assigned to the announcement output. One of these relays can be used
to switch over the loudspeaker area of the loudspeaker system, for example, or to switch on an
additional lamp which draws attention to the announcement.
Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• Relay/actuator (optional, see chapter Important Information > Product Details > Basic
Assembly and Extensions)
• Created announcement output
1. Open the page Devices > Announcement outputs.
Note: Alternatively, you can also create and assign relays on the page
Devices > Relays (Actuators) (see chapter Functions > Relays
(Actuators)).
2. Click under Relays in the line for the corresponding announcement output.
Note: If suitable relays have already been configured on the page Devices >
Relays (Actuators), a list field will appear now. Select one of the existing
relays and click
New relays in the list field.
3. Enter a name for the relay in the Name entry field.
4. Click Ok.
Note: To create further configurations for a relay, click
corresponding relay. The configuration is described in the chapter Functions
> Relays (Actuators).
