Importing an Image for a Contact Person

4. Enter at least one phone number in the Phone numbers entry field. Possible entries:
Digits and characters *, #, +, (, ), -, / and space
Note: You can neatly arrange the phone numbers with the following
characters: (, ), -, / and space. The following phone number formats are
possible: +49 5306 -1234567 (recommended) or 05306-123457 or in the
local telephone network 1234567 (not recommended when using LDAP).
5. If necessary, you can assign a different phone number type to the phone number in
the list field under Phone numbers. Select one of the available options.
Possible entries for custom phone number types:
6. If required, you can enter additional information, such as Title, First name,
Department, Position or Birthday.
7. Click
Save.
The new contact now appears in All contacts view and if required, is included in the
specified standard contact group(s).
Note: You can assign the contact to one or more other contact group(s) at a
later date.
8. Repeat steps 2 to 7 to create additional contacts.
Importing an Image for a Contact Person
You can add an image for the contact person to every contact. During a call, this image can be
displayed in addition to the name.
Note: The image file must not exceed the maximum permitted file size of 512
KB and image size of 800 x 600 pixels.
Currently, only with COMfortel 1400 IP, 2600 IP, 3200, 3500 and COMfortel
3600 IP the contact images will be displayed, provided the contact person
has called the telephone in question at least once.
