Configuring Sub-Administrator Access

Passwords with a low security level can not be saved.
6. Enter the current Admin password in the Please confirm your changes with the
current admin password entry field.
7. Click Save.
Configuring Sub-Administrator Access
You can configure up to four sub-administrators. Each sub-administrator's sub-admin PIN and
sub-admin password correspond to their user PIN and user password.
Note: The user name that a sub-administrator uses for logging in to the
configuration manager is sub-admin. You can configure the sub-adminis-
trator's authorisation to access different pages in the configuration manager
on the Administration > Access authorisations page.
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for subscribers
• Using the configuration manager
1. Open the page Subscriber (scr.) > Phone numbers.
2. Click Configure in the line of the corresponding subscriber.
3. Click the Basic settings tab.
4. If necessary, change the sub-admin PIN of the relevant subscriber in the PIN entry
field. Possible entries:
Exactly 6 digits
Digits: 0-

Caution: A high level does not necessarily indicate a secure
password as this can also be reached by entering names and birth
dates in connection with special characters. However, names and
birth dates should not be used as passwords.
• To create a secure password you can consult, for example, the
guidelines of the German Federal Office for Information Security
(BSI, in German).
