Configuring the Language of the Announcements

Configuring the Language of the Announcements
If several language files have been imported, the language of the announcements can be
configured. If Standard is configured, the language set as the standard language will be
selected for the announcements (see Devices > Voice mail/fax boxes > Basic settings).
Proceed as follows:
• Separately for voice mailboxes
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• Voice mail/fax function (optional, see chapter Important Information > Product Details >
Basic Assembly and Extensions)
1. Open the page Devices > Voice mail/fax boxes > Properties > Box settings.
2. In the list field at the top, select the voice mailbox in question according to the name
or number.
3. In the Language of the announcements list field, select one of the following options:
Standard: The standard language will be used (see Devices > Voice mail/fax
boxes > Basic settings.
e. g. deutsch - V02.00, english - V02.00: The language of the selected
language file will be used.

For saving, proceed as follow:
• Using the configuration manager
For recording, listening and deleting, proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
• Using a character string on an internal telephone (see section Short Reference)
