Initiating an Instant Firmware Update via the Update Server

Proceed as follows:
• Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
• PBX connected to broadband Internet access
• Configured address of the update server
• Configured DNS server and, if necessary, an HTTP proxy server
• Configured gateway
• COMfortel 2500, COMfortel 1500, COMfortel 1100: Entered phone number of the update
server (+49 5306 9200510) into the telephones (e.g. via COMfortel Set)
1. Open the page Administration > Firmware update/restart.
2. Select or clear the PBX firmware update check box under Instant firmware update.
3. Select or clear the ISDN COMfortel firmware update check box under Instant
firmware update (firmware update for all connected ISDN COMfortel system
telephones).
4. Click Update.
