Default
The cost value depends on the port speed. The faster the interface's speed is will indicate a smaller cost.
MST always uses long path costs.
The default priority value is 128.
Command Mode
Interface Configuration Mode.
Command Default Level
Level: 12.
Usage Guideline
When entering the cost value, do not include a comma in the entry. For example, enter 1000, not 1,000.
